Carbon steel Cut Wire Shots, is made by cutting carbon steel wires. The carbon steel cut wire shots are available as cut or conditioned. The Carbon Steel Shots as cut, which is also called for cylindrical cut wire shots, has the shape edges during the cutting process. Carbon steel shots conditioned, which is also called for Spherical conditioned carbon steel cut wire shots, is made by carbon steel wire after cutting and conditioning process. During the process, we can obtained several conditioned forms G1 (normal conditioned), G2 (double conditioned) and G3 (special conditioned), where G3 is the perfect rounded particle.
Carbon steel cut wire shots are widely used in foundry, forging and automotive industries for cleaning, deburring, descaling, shot peening and surface improvement.
Carbon steel cut wire shots are available in different hardness: HV400-500, HV500-555 , HV555-605, HV610-670, HV670-740 HRC with size ranging from 0.3mm to 2.50mm. Our cut wire shots conform to SAE J441, AMS 2431 and VDFI 8001.
